Installation Problems

1. What are the system requirements for running Rapid sitemaps?
2. I install the program fine, but when I try to run it, I get a MissingMethodException error. What happening?
3. When I try to install the application, it tries to install another program I've already installed. What's going on?

1. What are the system requirements for running Rapid sitemaps?
   Rapid Meta-Tags will run on any machine running Windows 98 or better, with the Microsoft .Net Framework version 1.1 Service Pack 1. 
   You can Download the Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1 here.
   You can Download Service Pack 1 for the Microsoft .NET Framework here.

   As of version 1.2, Service Pack 1 is no longer required.

2. I install the program fine, but when I try to run it, I get a MissingMethodException error. What happening?
   This error will occur when you try to run the application on a system that is not running the Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1 Service Pack 1.

   As of version 1.2, Service Pack 1 is no longer required.

3. When I try to install the application, it tries to install another program I've already installed. What's going on?
   This problem only occurs with Rapid Meta-Tags version 1.0 - more recent versions do not suffer this problem

   The automatic installer will unzip the installation files to your temporary folder, and run them. It will not, however, overwrite any files that are currently in the temporary folder. If you had previously installed a program that unzipped it's files to your temporary folder, but failed to delete them afterwards, you may have this problem. There are two solutions to this problem:
    

   • The best solution is to delete all the files from your temporary folder. This will not only fix the problem for Rapid Meta-Tags, but for all other installations as well. Once you have deleted the files, re-try the installation
   • You can download a version of Rapid Meta-Tags that will not automatically unzip and execute the installation files. You will have to manually unzip the installation files and run the Setup.exe file.
