Limitations

Rapid Meta-Tags is not a guarantee of ranking well on search engines. It is a tool as part of the process of ranking well on search engines. It is to help you cope with the slog of generating the meta-tags that are important to search engines but it is not the only tool you will need on your path to web site success.

However it is a tool that we have generated since it comprises a vital part of the path to success, properly structured web pages!

Rapid Meta-Tags will work best with pages that have targeted content. So the WAY in which the page is written will help the effectiveness of the tool. A very long single page of many thousands of words is less effective than splitting the page up into smaller manageable chunks that revolve around a niche theme of the original page.

If you think about it this way, the more pages your web site has, the better your chances of being able to cover more keywords and combinations of keywords, and to be able to inform the search engines via your meta-tags what your content is all about, in a more focussed and specific manner.

Rapid Meta-Tags will not correct poor grammar, short pages of little or no text and poorly structured content. You can at any stage manually override the program to adjust or modify your meta-tag content however and we strongly recommend that you check a sample of your pages to ensure that the content of the tags is what you want it to be.

A Note On Keywords

A keyword can comprise of a single word, or a combination of a few words. For instance, the words koi and ponds can be combined into four distinct keywords from a search engines point of view, namely: koi, ponds, koi ponds and ponds koi. In the eyes of the search engine these four keywords are completely different to each other.

We refrain from using the word key-phrase although this is possibly a better description of what a keyword can represent.
