(2)Toolbar Buttons

There are six basic buttons available on the toolbar, but not all will be visible at the same time.

Regions

This button shows or hides the Regions Navigation Bar.

Sentences

This button shows or hides the sentences that are extracted from the current file. In order to calculate the meta-tags for a file, Rapid Meta-Tags must first extract a series of sentences from the file. It can then analyse these sentences to identify keywords, etc. Use this button to show you what sentences the program has extracted from a page.

Save As

This button is only visible when the Sentences button is depressed. Click the Save As button to save the current sentences to a text file.

Reload

This button is only visible when the current file is editable i.e. when the file was opened with the File / New command, and the sentences button is not depressed. Whenever you make changes to the contents in the Content Display Box, you must press reload to refresh the meta-tags. If you open another file without pressing Reload, you will lose all your changes.

Update

This button is only visible if you opened the current file from your harddrive. Clicking this button will update the meta-tags of the current file with the values in the relevant Meta-Tag Display Boxes. Click the down arrow to display a drop down list of choices:

Update File

This is the default the current file will be automatically updated with the current meta-tags.

Edit meta-tags then update

A dialog box showing all five meta-tags will be displayed. For each meta-tag, both the current value of the meta-tag in the file, and the suggested meta-tag values are shown. Edit the meta-tag values as you choose, then click Update to update the current file. You may also select to automatically close the file.

Update All Open Files

This will perform the same function as the Update option, but all the files open in the File Tab Bar will be updated

Edit the Update All Open Files

This will perform the same function as the "Edit meta-tags then update" function, but the dialog box will open for each of the files open in the File Tab Bar.

Save Project

This button performs the same function as the File / Save Project menu option you can save the current file, with all the current settings
