(9) Keyword List

The Keyword List displays all the key-words and phrases that have been found by Rapid Meta-Tags for the current file. Each keyword has six pieces of information about it:

You may exclude keywords from being used in the meta-tags by first selecting the keywords, then clicking the Exclude button. Excluded keywords are marked with this icon: . You may restore excluded keywords by selecting them, and clicking the Restore button. Excluded keywords are only excluded from the current file. To exclude a keyword from all files, use the Dictionary

Weighting

A keyword's weighting is what decides it's position in the list; the higher the weighting, the higher up the list the keyword is placed. The weighting is the product of the number of times the keyword appears (Count) and the number of words in the keyword (Words), adjusted by a value settings value

Count

This value indicates how many times this keyword appears in the text. Please note any word in the text can only be included in one count value. For example, if you have two keywords, "koi" and "koi ponds", each of which have a Count value of 5, it means that the word "koi" appears in the text ten times; five times followed by the word "ponds", and five other times.

Words

This value indicated the number of words in this keyword.

Length

This value indicates the number of characters that make up this keyword, including spaces.

Ratio

This value indicates how popular this keyword is, compared to the other keywords in the list. It is the ratio of the Count value of this keyword to the sum of the Count values of all the keywords in the list.

Density

This value indicates how popular this keyword is compared to all the other words in the text. It is the ratio of the Count value of this keyword multiplied by it's Words value to the total number of words in the text.
